In 2001, UltimaSerial released its first product, UltimaSerial, a powerful ActiveX-control to interface to DATAQ Instrument's data loggers like DI-154,  DI-194rs and DI-195B. Later, support is added for USB-based DI-148, DI-148u, DI-158, DI-718B and DI-710 data loggers. Ultimaserial also supports Dataforth's USB-based isoLynx SLX718.

UltimaSerial provides powerful functions to access analog inputs and outputs, digital inputs and outputs, event counters, and various trigger modes.  It also comes with many samples in various programming languages. That's why DATAQ Instruments recommend UltimaSerial to their customers as a third-party tool to program Windaq Starter kits.

Since then, our focus has been on Windaq add-ons to support all DATAQ hardware using Windaq software. With Windaq add-ons, you can add numerous functions to Windaq software without writing a single line of codes, for example, calculated channels, low-pass filter, spectrum display, closed-loop control, even audio commented event markers! 

We are also specialized in charting ActiveX controls, XChart and UltimaWaterfall, along with FFT math module, all designed for data acquisition, analysis and visualization applications.
